Sweden’s Adorable Princess Leonore Romps in Field During Royal Outing
Watch out, Prince George! You’ve got competition when it comes to the title of cutest royal toddler.
On Friday, 2-year-old Princess Leonore of Sweden stole our hearts when she got into some adorable antics on a family trip to Gotland island. The blonde toddler was supposed to pose for a photo with the pony gifted to her by the islanders, but she had other things in mind. People reports that Leonore, dressed up in a sweet blue dress and matching hair bow, took off running through the field where the photos were to be taken, shedding her shoes and socks along the way. It was a gorgeous sunny day on the Swedish island, and the field was filled with bright wildflowers: Can you really blame a girl for wanting to romp a little?
The photo op was part of a trip the young princess was taking with her mother, Princess Madeleine of Sweden; father, banker Chris O’Neill; and little brother, Prince Nicolas. The family lives in London, but they were visiting Sweden to attend the christening of Prince Oscar, Leonore’s baby cousin.
While Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge have long been some of our favorite royal tots to fawn over, Princess Leonore is definitely going to give the U.K. kids a run for their money. Or perhaps they’ll all become fast friends and our hearts will simply explode from the cuteness—we'll be waiting hopefully.
