Street Style Looks We're Coveting, Inspired by the Sundance Film Festival
Tinseltown has flocked to Utah for the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, and Hollywood's leading ladies brought their fashion A-game with them. We know it's a challenge to look on point when 1) it's cold, 2) it's January, and 3) you're exhausted, but these trend-setters have done it, looking more camera-ready than ever.
Chloe Moretz made her plaid shorts winter-appropriate by pairing it with winter staples, like tights, a comfy knit, too-cool buckled boots and a Fay oversize parka. Diane Kruger roughed up an otherwise ladylike appearance, shoulder-slinging her printed shearling jacket over her crisp buttoned-up blouse-and-midi set. Rachel McAdams took advantage of cool-weather textiles, mixing knits with leather and topping of her look with an oversize cocoon coat. Finally, Kate Hudson stepped foot outdoors sans coat, relying on layers and furry accoutrements for insulation. She styled her chambray shirt with a printed sweater, slightly distressed denims, shearling-lined kicks and a statement fur hat.
Since the cold is far from over (if the recent winter storm Janus is any indicator), take their lead for four fail-safe outfit options. Then, go inside InStyle's Sundance portrait studio to see all the stars.
