It was an unforgettable night at the 13th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, which honored remarkable men and women in the film, television, and music industries who strive to achieve creative excellence. Held at a private residence off of Mandeville Canyon in Los Angeles, Calif., over 650 guests gathered this weekend to celebrate including Diane Kruger, Vin Diesel, Rebecca Gayheart-Dane, Eric Dane, Katharine McPhee, James Van Der Beek, Ben McKenzie, and more. The event also acted as a fundraiser for Chrysalis, a non-profit initiative that works to help individuals out of poverty and homelessness by providing them the tools necessary to gain employment.

Co-chair Gayheart-Dane (in Lanvin) was overwhelmed by the growing support for the organization. "I feel shocked, surprised, and grateful that I started an event that helps so many people. People continue to come out year after year after year, and I don't have to twist their arm," she tells InStyle. "People want to help the homeless. People look forward to the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball every year. It's a really nice feeling."

Jordana Brewster was one of the stars more than happy to be in attendance at the Audi and Stella Artois sponsored event on Saturday night, noting her love for the organization comes from what makes it so special. "Their message is so simple, yet so effective: Instead of giving people a hand out, they give them a hand up," she shares. "That's really, really effective. Chrysalis goes the extra mile by helping them get placed in jobs and building their confidence by assisting them with their future rather than just meeting their basic needs. I love what they do."

After a cocktail hour, delicious sit-down dinner in the estate's lavish gardens, and an award ceremony hosted by Max Greenfield, attendees were treated to energetic performances from Gavin Rossdale and Karmin, which lasted late into the night.
