Starbucks Is Testing Weekend Brunch with Belgian Waffles, French Toast, and Quiche
Your new favorite weekend brunch place might be even closer than you think. Starbucks, the ubiquitous coffee chain with locations seemingly on every corner, is getting into the brunch game.
The chain began testing three new brunch items last weekend, including Belgian waffles, baked French toast, and quiche made with cage-free eggs, according to Time. The exclusive menu is currently available at 78 locations in Portland and Seattle on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., making Starbucks a one-stop shop for select West Coast residents’ morning coffee run and mid-day brunch date.
“As part of our commitment to bring our customers a wide variety of innovative menu of food and beverages that for a variety of occasions, Starbucks is currently testing a weekend-only brunch menu,” a Starbucks spokesperson told Time.
While there’s no word yet on whether the new menu will expand to other cities, here’s to hoping we can get our hands on these blueberry-topped waffles soon.
