On Monday night, Turner recorded a series of videos of herself in bed talking to her followers on her Instagram stories, during which she discussed the new Lizzie McGuire reboot. Though she expressed her disappointment over news that the revival has been put on hold, she volunteered to take on the role of Lizzie's best friend, Miranda (played by Lalaine Vergara-Paras in the original series). "Is Miranda appearing in this season? Because I’m here. I’m available. I am your new Miranda," she said. "Lizzie McGuire people, please reach out to me." Replacing Lalaine would be no easy feat, but we wouldn't be opposed to seeing Turner in the revival in some capacity. She told Variety, "I would give anything to go back to what we had, but it wouldn’t be the same. It would be different, different people running it. I don’t want to be a part of it. Unless they give me the big bucks I’m not doing it!" Guess we'll have to settle for some cast mini-reunions.
