Solange Knowles Doesn't Trade Hair Tips with Sister Beyoncé

Solange Knowles changes her hairstyles all the time, pulling hair inspiration from everyone except her sister Beyoncé. “We don’t trade hair tips,” Knowles told InStyle of her big sis at the Elle Women in Music event in Hollywood last night. “She has a stylist all the time and I have to kinda manage.” As for where the 24-year-old mother of one pulls her inspiration, she looks to technology. “I’m a big reference person and the iPad has made that totally annoying because I’m constantly looking at images and slideshows of references,” says Knowles. “I went through my Cleopatra, Janet Jackson phase not too long ago—old Janet when she had the big, thick braids. Then I felt like, ‘I’m done with this. I think I’m going to rock a fro.’ All of it is still a reflection of me and where I’m at,” she explained.
