Designer Marc Jacobs and his director BFF Sofia Coppola have teamed up to create a TV campaign for the designer's ever-popular "Daisy" fragrance. Coppola, who has long been a muse of Jacobs, just debuted her brand-new short for the perfume, starring model Ondria Hardin running around in a field of—what else—daisies. Evoking the fresh and feminine feeling of "Daisy," the film matches the playful, bright, and alluring character of the scent. The ethereal cinematography featured in the ad immediately reminded us of Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides, one of her more well-known films (other credits include The Bling Ring, Marie Antoinette, and Lost in Translation). The director has modeled for Marc Jacobs in the past, but surprisingly, this is the first time she's gone behind the camera for the designer and we're sure it won't be the last.
