Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Snow White may truly take home that honor: The fair princess is the latest Disney character to be given a live-action remake.

However, according to Entertainment Weekly, instead of following the script of 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the new movie will expand upon the story and musical score introduced in the animated classic.

Erin Cressida Wilson, who adapted The Girl on the Train to the big screen, is in negotiations to write the script, and Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who wrote the lyrics for the much-anticipated musical La La Land, will write the new songs. While there’s no word yet on which Hollywood starlet will play Snow White, we can make a few suggestions.

Lily Collins proved she has got the gig down in Mirror Mirror, while Vanessa Hudgens could be a dead-ringer—plus her stint in the Broadway musical Gigi proved that she has the singing abilities. Other actresses with the innate ethereal dreaminess necessary to bring the princess to life and who've showcased their vocal chops in the past? Perhaps Game of Thrones queen Emilia Clarke or Oscar winners like Lupita Nyong’o and Natalie Portman.

Snow White isn’t the only Disney live-action movie set to hit the big screen. Beauty and the Beast (with Emma Watson), Cruella (with Emma Stone), and Tink (with Reese Witherspoon) are all in the works, while Mulan, The Lion King, and Aladdin have live-action remakes in the early stages of development.

How about them apples?
