Leave it to Sarah Jessica Parker to turn a trip to the White House into a hilarious fashion moment.

Yesterday, Parker visited the home of the First Family to attend a charity event hosted by Michelle Obama to benefit the Turnaround Arts initiative, a President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities program that brings arts education to low-performing schools that lack such programs.

However, it seemed as if the actress-turned-designer couldn't decide on what shoes to wear from her SJP Collection. Once Parker got inside the White House, she posted several Instagram shots of herself debating whether to don red, white, or blue pumps for the event (her "most patriotic combo"), noting that the Red Room was much bigger than her closet at home as she neatly laid out her color options (above right). Parker snapped a shot of herself trying on the red pair (above left), cleverly captioning it: "Contemplative in my red shoes in the Red Room at the White House."

The comedic star even hashtagged her escapades with #sneakingshoesintothewhitehouse, as she posted a video of herself in the Blue Room "finding" her shoes (watch it above). Aside from now lusting after a pair of cherry hued SJP Collection pumps for ourself, we want to know what color won the debate!
