"They say nothing lasts forever; dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style."

It may have been Carrie Bradshaw who said these words on Sex and the City, but Sarah Jessica Parker took them to heart. Parker, 51, took to social media to wish her friend and former SATC co-star Kim Cattrall a very happy 60th birthday over the weekend.

"Happy birthday you beauty @kimcattrall," she captioned a headshot of the show's sassiest sex symbol on Instagram. "Sending love and the very best for a perfectly marvelous, joyous, healthy and adventure filled birthday year. Your ol' pal, fellow mischief maker and "sister", Sj xxx"

Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch, Carrie's (other) best friend on the show, also took to Instagram to wish his former co-star a happy birthday.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the glorious @kimcattrall .......love you sweetie!" he wrote alongside a photo of the birthday girl.

In an AOL Build talk in January, Cattrall discussed battle she had with the crew of her new show, Sensitive Skin about editing out her wrinkles. "I went, 'OK, I've earned those wrinkles. I'm playing a woman who is dealing with wrinkles and aging and everything that goes with it. We can't do that. They are part of the story.'"

"This is what 60 looks like," she continued. "The best is yet to come."

And she means it! Cattrall celebrated her own birthday on Instagram by posting a photo of herself twirling across a dance floor with the caption: "Sixty and loving it! Getting more & more interesting all the time."

Happy birthday, Kim! We hope it was a fabulous one.
