Sienna Miller looked radiant in the front row of Ralph Lauren’s Fall 2016 show in New York City today, but she continued to glow backstage afterwards, as she waxed poetic about why she’s such a fan of Lauren’s magnificent aesthetic. “It’s classic, elegant, timeless, and so beautiful,” she told InStyle. “I loved the show and there are so many pieces I keep thinking about. I wore a Ralph Lauren dress last year at an event at Cannes. It was one of my most favorite dresses I’ve ever worn, so it was a real pleasure to come to the show today. This is my first time.”

Miller stunned in a black jersey midi dress with cut-out detail during the show (paired with a mini cross-body bag and black leather brogues), then threw on a cozy camel wool coat from the same collection backstage for warmth. “I’m one to forgo style for comfort,” she explained when referencing how to dress in the chilly winter months. “I think layers, tights, but I think in New York you need fur-lined stuff, and they make great faux fur options these days. I think you really need to layer out there.”

What is one piece of advice the 34-year-old would give her younger self? “Be present, enjoy the moment, it doesn’t get any easier as you get older,” she said. Spoken like a true gem.
