It's no secret that Sia has been writing hits for big name stars like Beyoncé, Adele, and Britney Spears. But what happens when those chart topping artists reject one of her tunes? The songwriter isn't letting her work go to waste. In fact, she's actually making nearly an entire album with the refused music. Her new LP is entitled This Is Acting, and Sia explained to Rolling Stone, "I feel like they're hits, but nobody wanted them."

If the works of art are anything like her hypnotizing "Chandelier" or her melodic "Elastic Heart" they're sure to be a treat for the ears. The first denied track is called "Cheap Thrills," and it was meant for the bad gal Rihanna. "I realized just as soon as I was cutting it that it sounded a little bit too Brit-pop for her. It's more Icona Pop," Sia confessed while adding, "We did actually send it to her, but they passed on it, and then I just couldn't stop listening to it in the car."

"Cheap Thrills" has a sassy mid tempo mixed with a subtle reggae twist that we can definitely image Rihanna rocking out to. Either way, it's a fun song and we're glad Sia shared the tune with us. Listen to the new track here:
