Shakira Did the Sweetest Thing to Raise Funds for Children with Cancer
Shakira may mesmerize fans with her hip-shaking moves and soulful lyrics, but her latest gesture will really make you swoon.
The "Try Everything" crooner, 39, designed a bald babydoll named Baby Pelones for Spain-based charity, The Juegaterapia Foundation, to help raise funds for pediatric cancer patients. "Shak designed this peach for @juegaterapia to help sick kids and it's available at babypelones!," she captioned a shot of the creation. In the photo, the wide-eyed doll has a lips-print scarf (created by Shakira) on her head, freckles on her face, and a Juegaterapia Foundation bib around her neck.
The doll not only raises funds for the organization, which builds hospital gardens for kids as well, but will also be given to children who lose hair during their treatments to help them stay lifted and confident. As a mom of two herself, it's clear this worthy cause is close to the singer's heart.
