Shailene Woodley Dons a Dirndl to Celebrate Oktoberfest in Munich with Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Shailene Woodley and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are touring Europe to premiere their new movie, Snowden, but they did find one day off to enjoy a centuries-long tradition: Oktoberfest. After the Munich, Germany, premiere of their film on Monday, Woodley dressed in her best German garb and let loose for the beer festival with her co-stars.
The 24-year-old donned a dirndl by German retailer Amsel Fashion, pairing the traditional dress with white tights and black heels. Woodley let her wavy brown hair go au naturel, but later pulled it up into a bun (perhaps after a stein or two!).
The Snowden star also cozied up to her cast at the beer garden, posing for pictures with the dapper Gordon-Levitt and her director, Oliver Stone. The fun-loving co-stars smiled and drank while they enjoyed one of Europe’s most well-known fall festivals.

Considering Wednesday marked a return to work for the stars, who traveled to Spain for another premiere of their new film, we’re hoping that they got to blow off some steam on their well-deserved rest day.
We’ll raise a glass to that, prost!
