The further along you are, the more uncomfortable your body becomes and it gets tougher and tougher to sleep through the night. Not for Serena Williams though, who is currently carrying her first child and apparently has been getting more rest than she ever has. “I typically got 4-5 hours of sleep but now i’m getting 6-8 hours,” says Williams, who has been using a Tempur-Pedic mattress for over a decade and now also snuggles up next to a body pillow for optimal comfort throughout the night. “I’m getting a lot more hours now but it’s clearly due to the changes. My body needs more time to really make sure that I’m able to get that rest.” The tennis pro, who just recently signed on to become a spokesperson for the memory foam mattress company, also revealed her night time ritual. What does an all star athlete do before hitting the sheets? “Often I’ll pray before I sleep,” she says.
