Leave it to Sephora to make it even more tempting for us to spend our entire paycheck on makeup. Across the pond in France, the beauty retailer has just launched their first Sephora Flash retail shop, which merges the in-store experience with the countless brands available on their website. The outpost is much smaller than its original counterparts, carrying around 60 brands, but once you make your way over to one of the massive touch-screens posted upon the walls and counters, the possibilities quickly become endless. The stations allow you to order any of the products from the Sephora website, which can be picked up at the store the very next day, or delivered to your home within two to five days.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a tiny robot, which dispenses a card that serves as your "virtual shopping basket" so you can combine your online purchases with anything you find in the physical store, and pay for everything at the cash register. In addition to the skin and makeup staples, the Sephora Flash stores will replace the massive fragrance section's tester bars, equipped with samples from brands like Tom Ford, Atelier Cologne, and many others. The first Sephora Flash store opens today in Paris, with plans to open more locations throughout France in areas where the larger stores don't have a presence. In the meantime, we'll be over here, not-so-patiently waiting for them to eventually launch stateside ...
