Aside from their celebrity status, Selena Gomez and inimitable design duo Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may at first glance not have much in common. But the reality is that the trio, together, shares an unrivaled eye for easy-to-replicate style that’s the definition of refined.

On Thursday afternoon, the pop star stepped onto the WE Day California blue carpet in a look that proves that keeping it simple is always the right choice. Gomez, like any of us would, wore a scoop neck T-shirt with matching two-toned, frayed Vetements jeans and a pair of classic brown Manolo Blahnik pumps. She once again sported what has fast become her favorite accessory, the neck choker, this time from Jennifer Fisher, and paired it with a beaded bracelet. It was her standout coat, however, that brings the Gomez-Olsen connection full circle.

Gomez turned to the twins’ successful ready-to-wear label, The Row, and rocked a bright yellow coat from their spring 2016 collection that immediately kicked up the volume of her Southern California-ready ensemble—the Olsens designed her T-shirt, too. And considering the celebrated pair regularly scours the world for the finest fabrics and leathers (think rare alligator and crocodile textures, among others) we bet this piece, too, was one worthy of a “priceless” tag.
