Selena Gomez's Super Curly Shag Is Her Most Dramatic Haircut Yet

Last week, Selena Gomez made a big announcement: her upcoming beauty brand Rare Beauty is set to launch at Sephora this summer.

In the weeks leading up to the big reveal, Gomez has started to experiment more with her glam — especially her hair and makeup. Last month, the singer added trendy '60s-inspired long curtain bangs to her mid-length cut and started wearing bright lipsticks, like the hot pink shade she wore to the Dolittle premiere. And she just revealed yet another look: a super curly shag.

Just a few days after adding "a sprinkle of caramel, bronze, and sun-kissed highlights" to her lob, the star upgraded her cut by changing the entire shape. On top of a trim, her lob now has a rounder shape, full piecey bangs, and boasts bouncy curls.

Gomez officially debuted her '70s shag on Instagram without a caption on Feb. 10. But, no caption is necessary when your hair looks this good, right?

Since posting the selfie, the photo has already gotten over 5 million likes and fans have flooded the singer's comments to praise her shag. "You look like a goddess, so pretty," wrote one fan. And that pretty much sums up the rest of her follower's reactions to her cut.

While Gomez's caramel highlights, curls, and shaggy lob are a winning combo, the beauty of the style is that while it's just as versatile as the bob, it's defined by layers instead of length.
