Last month, Selena Gomez dropped the incredibly twisted music video for her new single, “Fetish,” giving us major horror movie vibes in the process. But in a new behind-the-scenes video shared from set on Thursday, it’s clear that the atmosphere on set was a lot lighter than what we saw on screen.

In the cute, unfiltered look, Gomez laughs, smiles, and jumps around on set, things we definitely don’t see her do in the creepy video.

In an interview with Dazed, the singer said she was excited to work with director Petra Collins because they had a similar vision for the video.

“I made it very clear to you that I didn’t see ‘Fetish’ how most people know the word at face value. When most people hear the word ‘Fetish,’ they think of S&M and all that sexual shit, but you didn’t. You knew why I loved it. You told me, ‘I think this song is about love, something crazy and complicated.’ I wanted the video to be contextualized,” the singer explained.

We’d say she definitely succeeded.
