If you missed this morning's Today show, then you also missed InStyle's Fashion Features Editor Isabel Gonzalez-Whitaker, who stopped by to talk about how, whether you're petite or tall, everyone can wear Fall's hottest trends. Never fear! We've got the recap for you. The key takeaway? "Our No. 1 recommendation at InStyle is to have a tailor help you alter your clothes," she said. "You can buy very affordable clothes and spend just a little bit of money on tailoring for a custom fit that looks really luxe and more expensive." Scroll down for more of Gonzalez-Whitaker's styling tips and to watch the clip!

1. LONG FLARED SKIRTS"Fashion gets into shape this fall with a longer, flared belle curve skirt," Gonzalez-Whitaker says. "It is a super flattering silhouette, very ladylike and celebrates the womanly shape. To rock this look, pair a strong silhouette with a more fitted top or with a dress that is fitted on top and flares at the bottom."

2. MENSWEAR-INSPIRED"Women have been wearing menswear forever. Katharine Hepburn wore trousers and tuxes in the 1930s and Diane Keaton did Annie Hall in the '70s," she notes. "In 2013, the easiest way to pull off the look is with separates so you can mix feminine with masculine. Take wide-legged trousers and pair with a silk pastel button-down, or sexy skinny jeans and pumps with a menswear inspired blazer."

3. PLAID"There’s nothing old-school or prep school about the plaid that’s happening this fall," she says. "In fact, it’s being worn sexier than ever. There’s something irresistibly naughty about tartan mini skirts, cropped jackets, and separates that skim the body in a quietly seductive way. Plaid can seem too prim, so hair should be a little wild and swipe on some dark lipstick or eyeliner to shakeup this look. In other words, the less put together, the better! For the office, unexpected shapes work well."

4. TAPERED TROUSERS "Pants are usually either hold-your-breath tight or so slouchy that your hard work at the gym goes unnoticed, but this fall, we have a nice medium: tapered trousers," Gonzalez-Whitaker explains. "They are relaxed through the hips and narrow toward the ankles. This cut covers the widest part of the leg while highlighting the thinnest part for a flattering silhouette. You want to keep the waistlines hidden, so pair with tops or jackets that hit the top of your thigh. In order for trouser legs to fall right, they need to be cropped just above the ankle."
