It doesn't get more glamorous than this at Cannes! The stars were out in full force for one of the most dazzling parties of the year, the amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in France. The annual gala is traditionally the biggest red carpet event of the festival, and the turnout for this year's event at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes didn’t disappoint.
The celebrity-filled party was attended by notables like Jessica Chastain in a strapless black Givenchy Couture gown, Heidi Klum in a strikingly sexy ice blue Atelier Versace dress, and Marion Cotillard in an Alexander McQueen high-neck embroidered chiffon frock, among many others who all stepped out to celebrate.
All came out for the festivities to raise awareness and funds for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, which is dedicated to research, prevention, and education for the disease. The night's sponsors included Worldview Entertainment, Bold Films, Bvlgari, Mercedes-Benz and The Weinstein Company, and raised a record breaking $35 million for the cause.
The wonderful event included dinner, performances by Robin Thicke, Lana Del Rey, Aloe Blacc, and Andrea Bocelli, and, as a special treat, a live fashion show that paid tribute to Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe where a multitude of models like Karlie Kloss and Arizona Muse walked the runway in bold red designs custom-made for the event from over 35 designers including Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Marchesa and more.
