Hollywood’s top costume designers have delivered some amazing fashion moments over the past year. Really, who could forget the retro ‘50s styles that Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara wore in the Golden-Globe-nominated film Carol, or the outrageous ensembles that Taraji P. Henson sported as Cookie Lyon on the first season of Empire?

We certainly can’t get enough of our favorite TV and movie characters’ style, so we were excited when the nominations for the 18th Costume Designers Guild Awards were announced earlier today. The awards gala, which takes place on Feb. 23, honors the creative forces who use fashion to tell the most captivating stories onscreen. Scroll down for the full list of nominees.
