On this week's episode of Scream Queens, Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts) once again confirmed her place in the spotlight with a hilarious, Taylor Swift-inspired home video that highlights the positive deeds she performs for "Chanel-o-ween." For the once-a-year celebration, girls from afar are gifted hand-written notes, dead heads, and blood-covered limbs from the Kappa Kappa Tau ringleader. And though last night's episode kicked off on a comedic, off-kilter note, the race to find the culprit beneath the red latex devil costume still continues.
As security personnel repeatedly to point fingers to Zayday (Keke Palmer) for multiple murders and Wes and Gigi blame Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis), Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Pete (Diego Boneta) meet with one of the original Kappa sisters that helped bury the body of a sister who died in the house while giving birth to a child. She, of course, later falls victim to the red-masked killer, but it's revealed that Munsch, for the protection of her administrative role, helped conceal the evidence and kept the death a secret. Cameras flash to Grace as the witness explains that the baby in question is a girl, implying that Grace herself is perhaps the child grown up.
With a jolt of inspiration from Earl Grey, Zayday chooses to run for president of Kappa, while also deciding to host a fundraiser for sickle cell anemia, meaning Chanel loses her mind and deems it unacceptable. To combat the run, Chanel's followers host another charity booster for another disgusting disease. Inside of a cemetery, Chanel No. 6 and Chad bond over their love of spooky, blood-inflicted tales.
Grace, Pete, Zayday, Earl, and Denise visit a home on Shady Lane, where creepy killings occurred decades ago and Esther and Chad eventually meet to potentially hook up. The two find rotting corpses—those of Miss Bean and Chanel No. 2 (Ariana Grande). And as guests enter the home of the so-called haunted house, Zayday's life comes to an end.
The episode wraps as Dean Munsch wards off police eager to investigate the ongoing campus crimes. Pete and Grace discover that the hag who once haunted the home on Shady Lane is actually Gigi, the woman in love with Grace's father, Wes, all of which is further proof that Grace herself is the one salvaged baby from the series premiere. And just as we're curious for more answers, we'll have to wait until next week to see Kappa Kappa Tau's fate.
