Here’s a weekday morning pick-me-up you won’t forget.
On Monday, 30-year-old actor Scott Eastwood took to Instagram to participate in one of social media’s most recent viral campaigns for a good cause: the #22PushUpChallenge. As its name implies, this no-frills athletic feat is similar to the #IceBucketChallange in which friends, and A-listers in particular, rush to complete 22 push-ups and then call out the name of someone they expect to take on the ritual next. The reason? The campaign aims to raise awareness for veterans in need.
Naturally, Eastwood, who boats a hunky, super muscular physique, completes the push-ups with ease, but it’s not just his ability to do so that impresses. “I saw my boy the Rock did this, this morning. I’m gonna do the 22 Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness for all the veterans out there who are suffering,” Eastwood says in the video.
He immediately proceeds with the physical activity but then pauses in order to do one important thing: remove his shirt.
The youthful star rips off his gym-ready tank and, voila, reveals a chiseled physique.
