Scarlett Johansson, Fresh from France, Buys a New Home in L.A.
After living much of last year in France, giving birth in New York and getting married in Montana, Scarlett Johannson appears to be headed back to Los Angeles.
The actress, whose new film Avengers: Age of Ultron comes out in May, just dropped $3.88 million on a home in the upscale Los Feliz area, Variety reports.
The 3,500-square-foot home has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and views of the Hollywood sign. An open kitchen and family room flow into a step-down living room and media room that in turn open onto the yard, which features a large swimming pool, eight-person spa and cabana.
The master suite includes a fireplace plus a bathroom with a skylight and a balcony with a view. Like many homes in the area, it overlooks a deep canyon.
Johannson sold another Los Feliz home, where she'd lived with then-husband Ryan Reynolds, for $3.5 million in 2012. Variety reports she lost $3 million on a 1930s-era Spanish casa back in 2010.
