The drama on last night's Scandal continues with Pope & Associates investigating the murder case of Caitlin Winslow, the step-daughter of Olivia (Kerry Washington)'s friend who was arrested for the murder. Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes) does surveillance on another suspect in the case and when Olivia shows up to help, Quinn says "You're getting your expensive pants dirty!" Touché, Shonda Rhimes! No matter what the scenario, Olivia Pope is always dressed to impress. Last night, she stuck to her signature working look, with lots of muted colors and of course, her favorite Armani black trousers.

Meanwhile at the White House, former Gladiator and newly minted Press Secretary, Abby Whelan (Darby Stanchfield), has updated her look this season. "With Abby, we're starting to ramp up her wardrobe," costumer designer Lyn Paolo told InStyle. "We're getting rid of her more urban look and moving towards a more professional look. Her fashion will start evolving and you really see it this season." It shows in last night's episode, with Abby wearing a chic pencil skirt by ALC and a sheer Dries Van Noten blouse.
