It goes without saying that Kathryn Merteuil was one of the baddest b-tches to ever exist on the big screen. The teenage mastermind—flawlessly played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions—was the preeminent manipulator of the Upper East Side, using her stepbrother and a new girl in town to take revenge on her ex, all the while carefully maintaining her untarnished, good girl reputation. A seminal film (based on Pierre Choderlos de Laclos's novel Dangerous Liaisons), it spawned an array of spin-offs: a prequel, a sequel, a threequel, and now, a TV reboot on NBC.

We recently spoke with Gellar at Swiffer's "Yes to the Mess" event at Maman restaurant in N.Y.C., where the newly-minted lifestyle guru and mother of two participated in a range of interactive crafting activities with children, and asked her who she had in mind to play the pivotal role of Kathryn—and it's not at all who we expended. "I'm a mom now, so I spend my days watching Sofia the First and Star Wars Rebels," she told InStyle. "I think Peppa Pig would be great. She's sassy—she'd do a nice job." Your move, NBC.
