Sarah Jessica Parker Wears a Fashion-Forward Plastic Dress for Date Night with Matthew Broderick

How do Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick keep their love alive after 19 years of marriage? Fun date nights out, of course. The couple hit the red carpet for The New School's annual Parsons Benefit in New York City last night, where Parker was being honored for her social impact on fashion, and the stylish pair pulled out all of the stops.

For the big event, Parker took a fashion risk, as per usual, wearing a dress made of plastic. She layered the unusual studded gown, which featured a clear bodice and full skirt, over a formfitting long-sleeve navy shirt. Parker accessorized the look with a crystal clutch, styling her hair in chic ponytail. Meanwhile, Broderick looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo and his signature bold frames.

Once inside, Parker joined BFF and the evening's host, Andy Cohen, for some fun. "Happy to be hosting the 2016 #ParsonsBenefit honoring many talented women, including @SJP! @TheNewSchool @ParsonsSchoolofDesign," Cohen captioned an Instagram of himself along with Parker, Broderick, and actor John Benjamin Hickey.
