Then again, when isn't she? On her whirlwind promotional tour for her upcoming HBO comedy Divorce, the actress stopped by NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York City Wednesday for a TimesTalk with New York Times reporter Patricia Cohen. For her second show-stopping look of the day, the 51-year-old mother-of-three donned a black mesh fit and flare dress with an ivory underlay and a deep V-neck. The edgy LBD featured an exposed bra effect on the bodice and natural waistline accentuated by oversize pearl embellishments that showed off her lean silhouette. As for footwear, the former Sex and the City star channeled her inner Carrie Bradshow, and accessorized her look with a pair of shimmery violet boots with dramatic mesh cutouts. SBN/Star Max/GC Images Parker's character in Divorce is a far cry from the ever-stylish Bradshaw, who helped skyrocket the actress to fame in 1998. As Frances, Parker plays an unhappy wife and mother-of-two as she tries to navigate the murky waters of her failed marriage. Understandably, Jimmy Choos aren't a top priority for her. "We talked a lot about having it be a very realistic and normal sense of domestic life, of divorce, in New York, in the winter—and of people of a certain age and economic bracket. So that really influenced a lot," costume designer, Arjun Bhasin recently told InStyle.
