How Your Favorite Animal-Loving Stars Are Teaming Up for a Good Cause
What if spreading holiday cheer was as easy as using a hashtag? Thanks to celebrity chef Rachael Ray, it is. This month, the bubbly chef and TV personality issued a social media challenge to her famous friends: post a pic using the hashtag "SantaPaws2016" to raise awareness for animal rescue organizations before Christmas.
In exchange, Ray graciously offered to donate $10,000 to an animal charity of their choice courtesy of The Rachael Ray Foundation, which has already donated more than $14 million to pet charities for food, medical supplies, and treatments, among other things. Allison Williams, Lauren Conrad, and Neil Patrick Harris are just a few of the A-list stars who eagerly answered her call and took to Instagram and Twitter to show their support.

Ray, who is using proceeds from her pet food to fund the generous contributions, kicked it off with a sweet pic of her dog in front of the Christmas tree.
The Girls star 'grammed a pic of her dog, Moxie, noting that it was taken when right after she brought the 10-week old home. "It's the sweetest gesture, and I couldn't be more grateful," Williams wrote about Ray's altruistic offering.

Like Williams, NPH chose to donate to the North Shore Animal League, writing, "This charity is near and dear to our heart - they matched us with our new dog Gidget!"
Conrad tweeted her support for Wags and Walks, a Los Angeles-based dog rescue organization.
Rachel Bilson posted a selfie with her beloved pooch.
