InStyle's editorial guidelines Published on January 17, 2020 @ 10:05AM Pin Share Tweet Email Betty White, an actual national treasure, officially turned 98 on Jan. 17. And while we're all out here celebrating another year with the iconic actress, two of her former costars are battling it out for her affection. In a video posted to Ryan Reynold's Instagram, he and Sandra Bullock (who both starred in The Proposal with White) sing "Happy Birthday" to her in a way that turns into a, um ... well, very Reynolds-style sarcastic fight that ends in crying? After a few innocent lines of the song, Bullock sings "From Sandy, who loves you more than Ryan." To which Ryan retorts, "From Ryan who loves you so much more than Sandy." He continues, "What does Sandy do for you every year? Does she like show up and hand deliver flowers for you wearing nothing but black socks and a dozen gold bracelets just like you requested? Doubt it." Ryan Reynolds Won't Tell Anyone His Baby's Name Watch the hilarious exchange below: They end the video putting their jokes aside (although Reynolds is inexplicably crying), to tell White just how much they love her. And, I mean c'mon: don't we all just adore her. Happy birthday the world's Golden Girl. Everett Collection
