12 Years a Slave and Gravity

And the nominations keep rolling in! Today, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards announced the 2014 nominations and of the all the nominees, Sandra Bullock's blockbuster hit Gravity is the one to beat with 11 nominations, while both 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle trail closely behind with ten nominations each. As for our favorite leading ladies, Bullock, Emma Thompson, Cate Blanchett, and Amy Adams received best actress nods, while Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, and Lupita Nyong'o (who also nominated for the EE Rising Star Award!) were listed for best supporting actress.
