Designer: Victoria Beckham
Location: Cipriani, 25 Broadway
What was it like: Victoria Beckham has successfully experimented with many variants along the way, but this time she debuted a collection eagle-eyed on wear ability, and then some. From clingy knits to classy midcalf skirts, every piece that came down the runway translated to a women’s actual wardrobe. And we loved each and every single piece. "It is not about one theme -- but instead thinking about what women really want to wear and how they want their clothes to make them feel," she said in her show notes.
Why we love this collection: Sure we were initially distracted by the Beckham brood in their entirety looking dashing in the front row, but once the show began there were many things we couldn’t take our eyes off of, including the asymmetrical skirts, that sexy sleeveless mock turtleneck dress, and a poppy orange coat that served as the main attraction. "For me it is a collection full of possibilities," she said.
