For her fall/winter 2015 DKNY collection, that statement has never rung more true. With fashion blogger Bryanboy's tweet, "NY is the ultimate city in the world where anyone regardless of who they are or where they came from can make something for themselves," as the show's backdrop, the line-up was, more or less, a sartorial ode to the city that never sleeps. Why we love this collection: It's about classics made new again! From exaggerated high-neck ribbed turtlenecks to sleek ankle-high tapered trousers to pleated wrap skirts, all of our favorite closet staples have been re-imagined in "omni blue, electric purple, and super red" for today's modern woman. Clean-cut menswear-inspired suits, too, were either stripped free of frills, or treated with just a hint of embellishment. Karan had decreed her new collection, "the New York uniform," and we completely agree. PHOTOS: Runway Looks We Love: DKNY
