While we usually think of Kate Middleton as the trendsetter (consider the multitude of pieces the Duchess has caused to sell out), this time she was the one emulating the style of two other well-dressed famous ladies—Mindy Kaling and Naomi Watts.

For one of her recent stops on the Royal Tour at the Royal Australian Air Force Amberley Base in Queensland, Australia, the Duchess wore the "Lasa Poppy Print Dress" by L.K. Bennett, but not before Kaling donned the frock on the most recent episode of FOX's The Mindy Project. Kaling posted an Instagram of herself in the dress three months ago, and the actress was quick to note the shared ensemble. "UHH, Miss Duchess Whoever, I WORE this dress last week! What's next? Kate in my donut print pajama bottoms I mean c'mon," she jokingly captioned a photo of herself next to Middleton in the dress.

Great fashion minds clearly think alike, as a look Middleton wore on her trip Down Under had previously been worn by Watts in an ad campaign for Jacob's Creek Wine. The white eyelet "Roamer Day Dress" by Australian brand Zimmermann looked absolutely perfect on both women, and we love it just as much on each of them. The frock is part of the label’s summer 2014 collection, and you can pick it up starting in June for $495.

With all the appearances Middleton has been making lately, a fashion faceoff was bound to happen sooner or later—in this case, we think all three ladies are sartorial winners.
