Rose Byrne Reveals the Simple Way She Stays in Shape After Giving Birth
Rose Byrne seemingly defied the laws of reality in April when she literally dazzled on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York just three months after giving birth to her first child with husband Bobby Cannavale, Rocco. So how did the 36-year-old Australian actress manage to regain her svelte figure so quickly?
It sounds too easy, but as the X-Men: Apocalypse star told InStyle at a Chanel Fine Jewelry-hosted dinner Thursday in Manhattan, living in the Big Apple has its perks. “I’m not too fanatical about it,” she told us of staying in shape. “I’ve been trying to get back to the gym more. I’ve just gotta get more motivated. In New York it’s good 'cause you’re walking a lot and that really does help ‘cause you’re just walking constantly, so it’s a boring answer, but it’s true.”
Footsteps aside, the new mom also dished on a newfound addiction she’s picked up since welcoming little Rocco: shopping. So who’s responsible for picking up those adorable graphic onesies she and Cannavale have been dressing their son in (below)? She didn’t spill, but admitted they’re worthy of a smile. “That was cute!” she said. “So many cute baby clothes, it’s crazy. It’s one of those things. You just get addicted to buying stuff. It’s silly.”
