Having once declared, “I used to be cast for my hair,” Robin Wright has landed her share of hard-hitting roles, whether it’s the long Princess Bride layers that have held constant for the majority of her career, or the pixie, cut by Luca Blandi, that’s become synonymous with her conniving character, Claire Underwood, in House of Cards.

Wright, who has only once wavered from blonde (for Robert Redford’s The Conspirator), transitioned to the dark shade for her role as a CIA agent in the thriller A Most Wanted Man (out this weekend). To tackle the often sticky transformation back to blonde (and her recent press circuit), Wright enlisted colorist, and blonde maven, Kyle White, who counts Julia Louis Dreyfus, Mariah Carey, and Maria Menounos as clients. The result? A natural-looking, multidimensional hue.
