And while Twihards shed many a tear when Pattinson first traded in those locks for a dapper short crop in 2010, that transformation was downright subtle compared to the actor's most recent hair makeover. Zac Efron Trades His Signature Crop for an Undercut Earlier this week, Pattinson debuted a noticeably more dramatic cut, albeit under a baseball cap, in New York City. And at last night’s GO GO Gala in Beverly Hills, Calif., the actor finally revealed the entirety of the look: an undercut-buzzcut hybrid that featured a single vertical strip of hair floating on the back of his head (above). Pattinson joins the ever-expanding club of Hollywood's leading men to have taken on the undercut—and closely follows on the heels of Zac Efron, who underwent the change this month. While it’s unclear what led to the unconventional style, it may find its way into Pattinson’s upcoming role in the post World War II film, The Childhood of a Leader, which is currently in pre-production.
