Despite her love for sweatpants and come-hither dance moves, Rihanna is the definition of a lady. So before jettisoning off her floating bridge and marching onto the Barclays Center stage for her first New York Anti world tour stop Sunday night, the 28-year-old Barbadian singer took time to celebrate the Easter holiday in a modern, yet timeless, fashion.
Turning to spring-friendly pastels for inspiration, the “Work” singer stepped out of her Manhattan hotel and threw on an oversize rainbow-colored sweatshirt with a matching set of pants that showcased how to take on the athleisure trend with flair. She paired her coordinating getup with taupe and blue-toned pumps and rocked a pair of yellow, rhinestone-encrusted sunglasses suited for a pop star. Her jewelry game was on point, too, and RiRi accessorized with perfectly layered gold jewels.
So did the beauty take on an Easter egg hunt? While we’re not sure what her daytime rituals consisted of, we do know that the crooner masterfully rocked the audience inside Barclays at night. Rocking a caramel colored Adam Selman bodysuit, the star performed a mix of new songs like “Consideration,” “Kiss It Better,” and “Love on the Brain,” in addition to fan favorites like “We Found Love,” “Diamonds,” “Umbrella,” and Kanye West’s “All of the Lights.”
Naturally, her go-to stylist, who we’re sure helped piece together the rainbow-colored Easter outfit, was there to document the whole event.
Talk about kicking off the week with a bang.
