Rihanna Is Launching a Makeup Brand with LVMH
Rihanna likes to work, work, work, work, work, and her latest gig is going to keep her busy long after she wraps up her current Anti world tour. Fashion and beauty conglomerate LVMH announced that the singer has signed an estimated $10 million deal with its Kendo division to develop her own makeup line, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, set to launch fall 2017.
"Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience. We are aiming for the stars," David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo, a division of LVMH, told WWD.
With her previous four-part RiRi Hearts MAC collaboration and seven successful fragrances, this isn't Rihanna's first move in the beauty game and we've been four, five, seconds from wildin' since the 28-year old singer and Puma creative director hinted at a possible makeup line last fall.
Details right now may be limited, but considering Rihanna's position as a constant source of beauty inspiration, from her glowing skin to flawlessly pulling-off unconventional lip colors, our beauty prayers have been answered.
