Forget sensible little black dresses: Rihanna once again made a splash when the 28-year-old Barbadian singer and designer unveiled her fall Fenty by Puma collection inside New York's Bergdorf Goodman department store on Tuesday. Her outfit of choice? One eye-catching black and white ensemble.

For the occasion, the bad gal threw caution to the wind and slipped into a multi-layered outfit only a certified pop star could pull off. Her look consisted of above-the-knee lace-up white leather boots, a high-waist skirt with slits to the skies, and a two-tone crop top with unusually proportioned sleeves. She slicked her hair down and rocked a natural-looking beauty glow.

“It’s every designer’s dream to have their collection be carried at Bergdorf Goodman,” the star said at the celebratory event, according to WWD. She also took to Instagram to dish on how it all went. “And that’s all folks. Puma, my Fenty launch was a success,” she said a video. Others showed her signing merchandise for fans and doing a few dance moves.
