Nominations for the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards aren't slated to be revealed until the first week in November, but the host of the upcoming show is already set. Ricky Gervais will do the honors for the star-studded event once again.

The English comedian has emceed four times in the last six years, and his edgy jokes have been unforgettable. Even NBC's Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt agrees, "We’re excited to have Ricky Gervais back to host the most enjoyable awards show of the season in his own inimitable way." Greenblatt continued to praise the jokester, "Disarming and surprising, Ricky is ready to honor—and send up—the best work of the year in film and television. Fasten your seat belts."

Not so fast. We'll have to hold tight before we see the funny man hit the stage. The 73rd Golden Globe Awards will air January 10, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
