Creating the perfect smoky eye isn't just a need-to-know makeup technique. We'd be willing to make a strong case that the method is a downright art. Without the proper tools, formulas, and blending skills, the effect sometimes falls slightly short of a masterpiece, though if you arm yourself with the Chosungah 22 Jello Eye Palette, you'll only need a trio of colors and your ring finger to impart the same red carpet-worthy appearance. The formula in itself has an interesting texture unlike anything we've ever tried, walking the line between a long-wearing cream shadow and a lightweight gel.

We're obsessed with how soft and blendable the colors are, allowing you to ditch your shadow brush spread in case you need to apply while riding mass transit—which, by the way, we've completely done en route to the InStyle offices. An endless amount of looks can be created with the 6-shade lineup, but the two-minute smoky eye remains our favorite by far. First, use your finger to pick up the petal pink tone, then blend the color over your lids and up to your crease. Follow with the shimmery brown over your lids, and with your pinky finger, concentrate the deep plum hue into the outer V of your eye. As a finishing touch, smudge the inky black tone along your upper lash line. Shop the palette now for $39 at!
