Reese Witherspoon hears your prayers for Season 2 of Big Little Lies, and she’s prepared to deliver. The actress and producer stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday and dished on what could happen next with the HBO miniseries, based on the book by Liane Moriarty of the same name.

“We hope so,” she said of whether they’ll continue the story, though the book doesn’t have a sequel. “Nicole [Kidman] and I produced it as well so we’ve been talking to the writer, Liane Moriarty, who wrote the book about just new ideas, what these characters could do. But it seems like people just love the characters, so hopefully we can go on.”

Thanks, Reese! That’s all the confirmation we need. The mom-of-three also talked Mother’s Day with the host and revealed what her sons and daughter gave her as a gift.

“My kids gave me a really cute picture of themselves, and my daughter said to the 4-year-old, ‘Where should we take the picture for Mom?’ And he said, ‘Well, we should probably take it in the bar.’ She said, ‘Why?’ He goes, ‘Because Mom likes wine.’”

Same. Watch the hilarious interviews above, where Witherspoon dishes on just how she likes to embarrass her kiddos.
