Reese Witherspoon, Courteney Cox, and More Celebs Step Out for the ALS Walk

When legendary Hollywood talent publicist Nanci Ryder calls on her friends, they listen. And it's lucky that some of her friends and former clients just happen to be Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, Courteney Cox, and Renee Zellweger. On Sunday, these A-listers came out to celebrate their good friend Ryder in the Walk to Defeat ALS in Los Angeles. Ryder was diagnosed with the disease in 2014.

Witherspoon shared a picture of her on Instagram with Ryder, Zellweger, Cox and some other friends wearing red shirts that said "Team Nanci." She captioned it, "Walking today to support #ALS research, with our friend Nanci Ryder who has done so much for all of us. We heart you Nanci! For all of you out there as well who would like to help supprt, a link to donate is in my bio. Every little bit counts to help #FIndACure! #TeamNanci." Witherspoon also posted some cute videos on Instagram and Snapchat of her walking along with Zellweger encouraging people to donate.

"It's wonderful that everyone comes out. It's so nice that everybody whose career she has fostered, who she has given so much to, is here showing their love for her today. It's an inspiring day," Zellweger told People. "You just show up," Witherspoon added in an interview with People. "We have an incredible group of organized people, so when Renee calls me I just show up, or when Courteney calls me we just rally. Nanci has a great team around her, a great group of people that she has done so much for over the years, and we just motivate each other and keep constantly in touch with each other. It's been incredible to see how connected her friends are, and her friends are her family."

Ryder founded Nanci Ryder Public Relations in 1984 and has worked with clients including Sarah Jessica Parker, Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as Cox, Witherspoon, and Zellweger.
