Medical-student-turned-designer Giovanna Randall launched the label in 2009, and her ultra-feminine creations have been red carpet regulars ever since, most recently appearing on Shailene Woodley at last night’s Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games. “They’re strong, but feminine,” Woodley, who often wears the label, told InStyle.com of Randall’s designs at Honor’s fall 2012 fashion show. “I like the fact that her clothes are feminine with a masculine touch.” Randall agrees:“I guess every woman wants to be the mix between being really ladylike and really tough,”the designer told us.“I think about that a lot when I design.” Randall describes her ideal customer as a “strong woman who isn’t afraid to be noticed, but does’t need to be noticed all the time.” It is a fitting description of her celebrity fan base, which includes Taylor Swift, Ahna O’Reilly, Kirsten Dunst, and more.
