Come fall, a deep, saturated lip paired with a minimalist eye usually becomes our go-to makeup look, so as soon we saw Kate Upton’s ultra-glamorous campaign for Bobbi Brown’s holiday collection, we had to get all the details from the pro herself on how to recreate it.

"It's a gorgeous combination of sexy, strong, and confident," Brown says of the look. In lieu of a bare lid, the makeup expert used a sparkly gold shadow on the star, and added a sexy feline-esque stroke of liquid liner. Starting with Upton's complexion, a layer of the Skin Foundation Stick in Warm Beige ($44; bobbibrown.com) was applied all over, then a few sweeps of the Bronzing Powder in Medium ($40; bobbibrown.com) were used to add warmth and a subtle contour. Brown followed by blending her Powder Blush in Peony ($27; bobbibrown.com) on the apples of the star's cheeks, and picked up the Brightening Finishing Powder in Bronze Glow ($52; bobbibrown.com) as a highlight.

To create the statement pout, Brown first lined Upton's lips with the Sangria Lip Liner, then layered the Hollywood Red Lip Gloss over the Lip Color in Bordeaux ($22 to $26; bobbibrown.com). Moving on to the eyes, the Dark Brow Kit ($47; bobbibrown.com) emphasized the model's arches, and after a layer of eye base, the Eye Shadow in Flesh ($22; bobbibrown.com) was blended all over. She followed with the Beige Eye Shadow ($22; bobbibrown.com) on Upton's lids, then used the Golden Pink Metallic Shadow ($22; bobbibrown.com) over the top. Armed with a liner brush, Brown traced the star's upper lash line with the Long Wear Gel Liner in Black Scotch ($24; bobbibrown.com), extending it into a wing, and diffusing the line with a touch of the Eye Shadow in Caviar ($22; bobbibrown.com). A cocktail of the Intensifying Long Wear Mascara and the Smokey Eye Mascara ($25 and $28; bobbibrown.com) served as the finishing touch.
