Designer Rachel Roy's firstborn daughter, Ava Dash, may only be 15 years old, but it looks like she's already following in her mother's footsteps and exploring her creative side. Dash tapped into her artistic skills while working with The Teen Project to redecorate the rooms of eight women in need.
The Teen Project's goal is to ensure that teens who are aging out of the foster care system have a successful move into adulthood by providing essential resources like transitional housing. In one of the rooms, Dash was captured hanging an abstract painting above two cozy beds.
Dash couldn't have done it without help from UGG. Not only did the company step up at the very beginning of the project, the brand also donated hundreds of pairs of shoes to the young men and women who are a part of The Teen Project. Other companies, including Sherwin-Williams, Echo, Tempaper, Handy, and Z Gallerie also extended a helping hand to show their support for such a great cause.
