So, it would only be fitting that Jennifer Aniston honor her sitcom counterpart this awards season, as she celebrates her first Golden Globe nomination for a television performance since she took home the statuette in 2003. Green, too, dreamt of high-profile awards recognition, as we learn in “The One with Joey’s Award” in season 7. In this episode, “gal pal Rachel Green” accompanies Joey to the Soapie Awards. Of all Rachel’s celebrated outfits, her Soapies look may be her most underrated. Green, like Aniston herself, opts for classic simplicity in her awards show garb, and attends the ceremony in a slinky red spaghetti strap dress. She wears her hair in a low updo and accessorizes with a pair of understated gold earrings and a wide matching choker. The look was undoubtedly Aniston-approved, as she wore a similar LRD to the Emmys one year prior.
