Queen Letizia Is Living Proof That Chic Royals Wear ASOS

If you're lucky enough to be a Real Life Royal PersonTM, you probably have access to just about any and every piece of clothing you could ever want (color us jealous). But even with a wealth of options at their fingertips, sometimes royal people reach for something us mere mortals can afford. Take Queen Letizia of Spain, for example.

While on a formal royal visit welcoming President Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan of China this week, Letizia left her extravagant (read: expensive) gowns by the wayside and opted for a $119 dress from your favorite online store: ASOS.

The Spanish queen wore a non-designer light pink midi dress with elegant floral embroidery and a pleated skirt (asos.com, $119). She paired the look with emerald and pink Coolok earrings and a Magrit clutch. (Of course, another fashionable royal, Meghan Markle, is also an ASOS fan — remember that maternity dress?)

Queen Letizia does wear obscenely pricey frocks on occasion (what royal wouldn't?), but she doesn't shy away from more affordable options either — she's worn Zara and Steve Madden plenty of times before.

Just like us. Who would've thought? A royal after our own (fashion-obsessed) hearts.
